PixelPusher® Frame Grabber
- Now with OpenCV support and video recording
- Compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit XP, Vista and Windows 7

PixelPusher® is an
inexpensive
external (standalone) frame grabber that connects to a computer through a standard USB 2.0
port. It converts RS-170 (monochrome) video input to true VGA at 30 frames
per second (fps) through a USB cable connection.
It converts color NTSC composite video input to true VGA at 30 fps (on hosts having typical dual core processors). There is no need to open your
computer case to install an adapter card. Display and record video on your computer from
any analog video source: CCD cameras, VCRs, DVDs and camcorders.

PixelPusher®
can be run right out of the box, or a programmer can use it to develop, test and
deploy image processing applications. Packaged with the device is a software
development kit (SDK) that includes three Microsoft® Visual Studio projects to build C# .NET, Visual Basic .NET and MFC fully functional user interfaces to capture video and
perform image processing on that video. These can be readily extended by the programmer. Any Windows client program that can link to a general Windows Dynamic Link Library (DLL) can readily access PixelPusher®. Support for the free and extensive OpenCV library is now provided for rapid development of image processing applications.
